Chinese Evergreen (Aglaonema)

Aglaonema ‘Golden Madonna’

Elegant with soft green and yellow marbled leaves.

  • Light: Medium to low light; no direct sun.

  • Water: Water when top 1" of soil is dry.

  • Humidity: Likes average to high humidity.

  • Temperature: Keep above 60°F; avoid cold drafts.

  • Pro Tip: Rotate for even growth.

Aglaonema ‘Red Valentine’

Striking pink and green foliage with a bold personality.

  • Light: Bright, indirect light for best color; tolerates low light.

  • Water: Let top 1–2" of soil dry out.

  • Humidity: Enjoys humidity—mist or group with other plants.

  • Temperature: Keep warm, above 60°F.

  • Pro Tip: Wipe leaves to keep them vibrant.

This one’s the low-maintenance friend who always shows up looking great. Chinese Evergreen is known for its colorful leaves and chill attitude. It does best when the top inch of soil dries out between waterings, and it's more than content in low to medium light—perfect for busy plant parents.

– Easygoing and colorful. Water when the top inch of soil dries out.

Snake Plant (Sansevieria)

Architectural and resilient—perfect for any room.

  • Light: Low light to bright indirect; handles some direct sun.

  • Water: Let soil dry out completely between waterings (every 2–4 weeks).

  • Humidity: Tolerates low humidity well.

  • Temperature: Avoid temps below 55°F.

  • Pro Tip: Rotate occasionally for balanced growth.

Snake Plant is the definition of low-key. It thrives on neglect, prefers to dry out completely between waterings, and tolerates anything from low to bright light. If you forget about it for a while, no hard feelings—it’ll still be there, looking sharp.

– Thrives on neglect. Water every few weeks and let the soil dry out thoroughly between waterings.

ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia)

Glossy, tough, and thrives on neglect.

  • Light: Low to bright indirect light; no direct sun.

  • Water: Only when soil is completely dry (every 2–3 weeks).

  • Humidity: Fine with average humidity.

  • Temperature: Keep above 60°F; avoid cold drafts.

  • Pro Tip: Less water is better—this plant stores moisture in its stems.

ZZ Plant is the superhero of the low-maintenance world. Practically indestructible, it stores water in its thick rhizomes and only needs a drink when the soil is bone dry. It prefers indirect light but can survive in low light too. A great choice for those who want green without the worry.

– Practically indestructible. Water when the soil is completely dry, and avoid direct sun.
